  Damn three UU's on this post. You know a UU is just a Quaker with ADD. The UU's holy book is "Roberts Rules of Order" and finally; UU's are a group of over intellectualized agnostic who have yet to get out of the habit of going to church on Sundays. Lol. I love UU jokes. Still Totally ADD

  Hello rawe, it so good your are able to give another sermon. I will be giving the sermon this Sunday on the history of the UU 's. Its for the many new ones who have been coming lately. Frist thing I learned after leaving the borg was what Grace really means not the nonsense the wt taught. Have fun with it and enjoy your cup of coffee afterward. Sill Totally ADD

  A very dangerous thing happen to us two weeks ago. It could have meant our life.

  two weeks ago mrs. add and myself was driving home from shopping on a side street when we came upon a man laying on his back with his arms spread out in a t formation.

  with no one in site we pulled over our van to help this person.

  mrs.add went for her phone to call 911 and i got out of the van to see what i could do.

  Just a update on whats going on. D.A. called us yesterday to let us know the trial date is set for March 5, 2019. Mrs. Totally ADD and I will have to testify. Stay warm its cold outside. Still Totally ADD

  Isn't turning in a time slip and totalling all these hours proof for the borg to keep their charity status with the goverment? That may be why they keep pounding this idea into the flocks head. Using the fog and bite method works very well for the cult. Still Totally ADD

  Baptised 52 years today!

  can you remember how you felt at your baptism?.

  i got baptised because my dad kept frightening me.

  September 12, 1970 at the Bay Front Center in St. Pete FL. I was 16 years old and did it because two young married couples I was going out in service with said I was old enough to get baptised and why wasn't I baptised already? I remember how hot it was outside and the water in the baptismal horse trough they used was so hot it turned your skin red. For awhile I thought it was a great thing I did and I felt like I was approved by God until those damn hormones started acting up. Lol. Still Totally ADD

  Df'd minor thrown out of home

  have you ever heard of a jw minor getting disfellowshipped and their parents then throwing them out of home?

  i know of 1, 14yr old, df'd for smoking and the very same night it was annoced his mother kicked him out of the family home on to the streets!.

  unsurprisingly as an adult he's never returned to his mother or the wt .

  When our just turned 18 year old son was df and I was an elder, my wife and I would never have thought to kick him out. Instead we encouraged him to go to a good trade school which he did and now almost 42 years old still uses that trade ti make a living. When the co came into town a few weeks after his dfing he tried to have me removed but the body of elders saw no need for it. Our son admitted he was scaree at the time we would k8ck him out.

  Whats funny is now he is the one who refuses to have anything to do with us. Oh well maybe he will wakeup someday. Still Totally ADD

  Religious experience

  Not to sound corny but I feel very close to mother earth every year when I am digging in the dirt in our garden. It is a very spiritual/ emotional experience for me. Helping the soil to come back to life is very fulfilling for me. If you want to call that a religious experience, then I have had one. No heaven, no hell and no religion just good old mother earth between my toes. Take care. Still Totally ADD

  Thank you Terry for this bit of cult history. As a child I always wonder how in the world did the wt. have it so right and everyone else was wrong. I now see how they really had everything wrong and nothing right. I think of the fear I lived with as a born-in believing in this crap. I fully understand why it is so hard to leave this cult.   new to this forum.

  i ran across it when watching lloyd evans videos and searching out jw links.

  i left the cult many years ago after a long stint in it.the cult caused me much pain and problems even though i left.

  Welcome Tobyjones. Your story is a very common one. Its so nice to see another one wake up from the borg. In many ways I am like your father-in-law living on SS and working a patt time job. Being a born-in I took what the borg had say hook, line and sinker untol I wokeup at the age of 53. Both our boys shunned my wife and I until this last summer when my youngest son call and told us how sorry he was for shunning us for so many years and has left the borg. We all had christmas together this last December. Never give up hope you never know how things will come out.
